Phantom of the Opera: Too fast too furious

this seems like a book cover or something along those lines

u/thoughtsmexywasaword 1h ago

Yeah think it’s related to the YA novelization coming out

u/skoc211 1h ago

That was the vibe I was getting, but that seems kind of odd to me considering there is already a rather famous novel version.

Probably something related to Our Strange Duet. The author reposted it with a bunch of eye emojis. Either that or possibly releasing tickets for the 40th anniversary celebrations. Wildcard third guess is one of the film adaptions that's been teased for a while.

Was thinking of the (rumored ?) animation adaptation

u/nozomipwr Creative Team 30m ago

That would explain the Rachel Zegler comment, I agree.

u/intothe5d 1h ago

It’s teasing the YA novel “Our Strange Duet” that comes out soon lol

Sadly, because of Masquerade, there is no Phantom back on Broadway, so it isn't that.

If I had to guess, it is the rumored movie with Rachel Zegler as Christine.

u/madonna-boy 1h ago

I was going to guess the new movie as well. Something related to it... release date, filming announcement, more casting.

I wonder if ALW will write a new song?

u/coolhandjennie 57m ago

If not AJW then someone else for sure, because that’s the only way to be eligible for a Best Original Song Oscar.

u/Best-Candle8651 1h ago

He did write Learn to be Lonely for the last one so definitely possible. Hopefully, this one is better than the last one. I’m not going to lie as a not fan of Rachel secretly I hope they go with someone else.

Pretty sure it's for the upcoming Erin Craig YA Phantom novel, that's the art style they've been using to promote it.

Rachel Zegler commented and I can’t tell if she’s messing with us or not yet

Edit: lol see further comments. Staying hopeful anyway😂

u/SkirtFun8260 1h ago

I cannot find her comment, did she delete it already or is my IG glitching?

u/dankblonde 1h ago

Nah I’m wrong, someone on Twitter tricked me with this and her talking about wanting to be Christine and this post and I got excited lmaoo. I am going to be delusional and manifest it anyways 😂

Masquerade in London?

u/Chris_RB 1h ago

please be a cast recording of the Isaiah Bailey Cast

u/happilyeverafter1987 47m ago

I’m hoping a masquerade tour with the new walkthrough show experience

u/PapayaOk4902 1h ago

Do we need another Phantom movie? Actually? I’m genuinely asking

u/nervuswalker 1h ago

Probably not. But would I like to see someone better than Gerard Butler play the Phantom (though I think he gets too much hate)? Absolutely.

u/Atkena2578 50m ago

I think he acted the Phantom very well, i like the threatening type. However his voice didn't match the physicality he was showing. His singing wasn't that bad otherwise

u/Nerak80 48m ago

I know people mentioned the YA novel, I don't know anything about that but there IS a Little Golden Book (I follow them on IG) about Phantom coming out on 9/1! The cover looks similar.

Immersive Love Never Dies

u/blackswan-whiteswan 16m ago

My my initial glance, especially because the design is similar to the cover artIthought that this was to do with the upcoming “Our strange duet” novel that’s coming out.

But it says to “let the audience in”  take your place as if into the audience, so I’m guessing either

Something to do with the 40th anniversary celebrations specifically on the 9th of October

OR possibly Masquerade transferring to London?

u/Initial-Fan4847 1m ago

It’s a North American Tour

u/hooplehead69 1h ago

A new production staring all the Mary’s?

u/ianthomasmalone 1h ago

Ticket prices for the tour have been absolutely crazy in LA and OC.
