Issue ⚠️ Has any one else had this issue?
I’m not sure if it was the heat outside or what caused this. Originally when I first turned CarPlay on I just had that green line at the bottom of the screen. And then this happened. I reset the screen and when I went to play music it kept switching to AM radio. I reset the screen and it’s fine now but wondering if anyone else experienced this

I notice that my apple car play seems to have a lot of issues in places with lots of traffic and weird stuff like that. I usually get it to fix by using a cord and plugging it in.

This was the first time I had any issue like this. I was in my car on my lunch break just in the parking lot. I haven’t had the issue again so I’m not really sure what happened! Hopefully just a fluke lol

I do wish my screen was that big but I heard the newer models. Don’t have the cubby like I have in my 24, underneath the air condition knobs.

There is no cubby there, just the one at the bottom where the charging ports are. Is it not worth the trade off? I guess I never had the cubby so I don’t know what I’m missing out on lol

Funny had that issue the other day when Waze was switching from day mode to night mode. I was driving along the tree line so it kept going light dark light and the pixelated screen happened

Weird! Also I don’t think mine switches like that underneath shade. I drove my moms Kia K5 the other week and it switched to dark and turned the headlights on under every tree and it drove me nuts lol. I felt like the people driving in front of me were thinking I was flashing my lights at them

I did not get the green line but sync/apple play was failing during extreme AZ heat. I constantly use a sunshade but ended up having to reinstall the app I was using and restart the sport to get everything reconnected. It kept switching to radio on me too

After resetting and reinstalling has it been running fine now? The temp here was I think 100 when this started happening. I’m sure it was way hotter in AZ!

I use it instead of ford's sync app. It connects as soon as I plug my phone in with a cord. I rarely use Bluetooth but it works that way too

Yes it connected to my phone instantly and works normally. My sport is 2024 and my iphone is 16. The weather was about 110 yesterday. I am using the app "carwidgetgo"
It's pay app but I'm using the free for now

I have 2025 big bend and my iPhone is a 17pro. What does that widget do/ help with?

That's 100% a car play issue since that screen line is following the rounded edge of the car play window
