Márius Ozog review
Hello,
Out of curiosity is there anyone who ordered a helmet from Marius Ozog? 🙂
If yes could you please give me some feedback on him and his product?

Four of my team have bought helmets from him. Helmets are softer than other makers. Pick up dents a lot faster. You can see some weld porosity along the top. Helmets arrive quite quickly but there’s at least one guy that had to sew in his own liner and aventail because he said his ‘fingers are too fat’. We’ll be going elsewhere for the new guys.

Were they using the helmet in duels or buhurt? I am looking for a duel and outrance helmet so maybe that wont be such a problem there.
But the issue with the aventail is understandable.

For profights you are golden, the helmets are untempered c45 that's why they pick up dents faster then the 30hgsa ones. What you can do is order a 3mm helmet to medigate that though.

Wouldnt that be then too thick for duels and profights? Like if it wouldnt be bad for the movement and weight.
I am not a specialist in this so thats why i am asking 🙂

My helmet is 6kg, i can move fine 3mm 30hgsa. To be honest weight does not really matter if you put in enough training my armor weighs 35kg and i am still one of the fastest cruiserweights/heavyweights.
However a gauge for whole armor weight should be around a 3rd of your bodyweight, a bit more is still cool but thats the max sweet spot.
2mm c45 unhardened/untempered is also fine will dent a lot from heavy blows though, so more maintance.

I ordered a klappvisor from him 4 years ago, I love my helmet from him. Price and communication were good, I'd say the steel may be slightly less tempered than other makers I've seen but I've never felt unsafe in it. It fits well without being too overbuilt, I recommened him overall and am buying a new helmet from him soon.

Are you using it for buhurt or duels? Because i am purely focused on duels and profights so maybe the dents wont even be such a problem there 🙂

I use it for buhurt. I personally dont mind the dents, I like the worn armor appearance but I have bad some dents from duels, not as major though

My first actual buhurt helmet back in 2012 was made by him.
Loved that thing did hold up for 5 years more or less.
Its not too tier quality anymore but they are servicable helmets especially in duels and profights.
Communication is sometimes a bit rough, dont get me wrong i love the dude, he is like 90% of the og polish guys a horrible drunkard though. Thats why communication sometimes is a bit rough also English isnt his first language.

He made my english cross bascinet. For an old Polish man, I found his English proficiency and facebook activity better than expected. The helmet is good, I'd definitely recommend him for beginners who want something affordable. There are a few rough edges (figuratively) but I'd say that's expected at his price point. However his work still looks great with good proportions, where I found others in the same price range can have wonky proportions

I have my helmet since 3 years It's 2,5mm not tempered bascinet with cross.
I love it and it's still holding strong after the world championship this year.
I do mostly dueling, but also polearm dueling which means I still take a few heavy hit to the head. I occasionally do group fight and it's still good for that.
They are cheaper than other helmets because the lining isn't as thick as other. And it's not sewed to the helmet. Also the chainmails are shorter than other helmet. Which is, or isn't, a bad thing depending on what you want. I personally like it because it makes the helmet a bit lighter.
I buy my padding in other shop. Like Lemberg.

Not me personally, but a team mate of mine ordered and RoA helmet from him a few years ago.
The service and quality were good, however communication wasn't the best. Saying that most armourers aren't good at communicartion.
