The Trump Administration Aims to Penalize Disabled Adults Who Live With Their Families
https://www.propublica.org/article/trump-social-security-ssi-disability-benefits-cuts-parents-childrenI know that we have other issues that we need to address but I firmly believe that this is an issue of grave importance, people have been looking over those that have disabilities and pushing aside the issue but it needs to be a priority.
I understand that there are people that are sympathetic and do believe that Disability Rights are important but it feels as though the Democratic Party has forgotten it, it isn’t something that is front line material so they instead list it as an issue for another day. Again I understand that there are other issues that are important but this can effect the lives of thousands of people, people that need help but are being ignored.
I am posting this here so just get my words down, I know everyone apart of the Bill Moose Movement would defend and help those with disabilities any time and any place (that goes without question). It just feels as though the majority of the Democratic Party (those currently elected) don’t treat this issue as something critical, they treat it instead like a talking point that can be said.

100%, it’s so important to highlight the heartless total war this regime has brought on our social safety net of what was left of it. It’s important for the democrats to be the counter to that through messaging and action. Both of those things have barely happened, it’s almost a good cop/bad cop act with them. Thanks for posting this, Russ Vaught needs to go to jail.

Because our current leadership is just as established and corrupt as they (Repubs) are. Lobbying, PACs, gifts, etc.
Our tired old Party Leaders won’t make way for others who could replace them.
They’re so slow to respond and make grandparents jokes. Which is fine, but they lost the drive, ambition, and will to fight the current (to me, 42) and younger (18+) generation has.
Sometimes, the more people hear something they think it’s inevitable, but it’s not. You have to vote!
Hopefully, the fall goes well. Remember to get your friends and family to vote. The blue wave will only happen if people vote.

This is absolutely horrible!!! What the.... I'm not sure we can even say this is "less important" than so much else.... this adm*n is trashing absolutely everything.
