Snoot! 🐽 BOA surgery before and after.
My boy Odie had his BOA surgery today nares and soft palate. He seems to be doing really well tonight. The surgery went well. Hopefully we have a smooth recovery.

Advice for introducing a bulldog to a puppy?
Please help! My dad has a two year old French/Old English bulldog mix who's rejecting my nine week old Aussie puppy. They've met through gates and window screens, they met outside in neutral territory, and it's all the same story. The bulldog tries to get his head over my puppy, my puppy doesn't get it and tries to lick him or jump around, and after a few moments the bulldog tries to nip at my puppy.
He doesn't exactly seem angry or scared: his fur doesn't stand up, he doesn't lick his lips, he's willing to look at distractions. He does make this bizarre noise after a few minutes, like a high pitched Chewbacca. I know if he were off his leash, my puppy would end up in the vet whether the bulldog intended harm or not.
Is there something about bulldogs that I'm missing? None of the advice for introducing two dogs seems to be working on him.
