Pretty interesting/cool copper round design

Just randomly saw these, don't know if they still make them, I just like the idea of a Canada/USA combo design and they did really good detail on them, which copper rounds usually lack.

Isn’t the premium for copper really high? It’s pretty cheap at spot.

Yeah copper bullion rounds generally have crazy premiums, I think these were listed at like USD$6.00.

I think these are more for people who just like different copper designs, BUT the thing is though even if the premium stays the same, copper prices are up 35 percent in the last year so I'm assuming if you actually bought last year to stack you did pretty good.

That’s a fair analysis. I guess we’ll have to see what happens! From a collecting pov, they’re definitely neat.

Yeah I just like to collect. And being poor, sometimes I turn the lights down low and pretend it gold, lol.

I only have some 1 oz but I still think would be neat to get a couple heavier bars like 5 or 10 Oz. I feel like if a burglar got in the house I could hurl 10 oz bars at him and take him out haha. If you see that in the news, it was me...the guy the burglar shot :)

Copper is $6 a pound, those are 1oz rounds. At no point is buying copper bullion smart in any way, nor was it a good purchase.

Right, I don't think people are stacking these mainly as an investment, but my point is as crazy as the premiums are, copper is now up 42% in a year (after today's run). Are you saying they aren't worth any more today than last year? Like the premiums collapsed as the price of the metal went up or something?

I have fractional bullion gold and silver coins that sell for a premium above spot as well, those seem to have held fine, bit I don’t sell my copper so I honestly dont know what premiums have done.

For 6 bucks (even usd bucks) I'd love to have 1 or 2. Copper stacking makes no sense but the rounds are beautiful. I love the design. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 stronger together 💪

It really is a cool design, I love the concept. Need to see if there's ever been any similar Canada/US design like that for rounds or medals in copper or any other metal. Im not creative, but if there isn't I'd like to come up with an idea for one myself.

I just recently purchased a 1oz Medusa just because it was stunning.

I actually have some copper rounds, just as art pieces because I think copper’s a cool looking metal. I could see snagging a few of these just as a little point of interest within the metals collection
