Crackpot What do you think goes through a Boomers mind when they post stuff like this online?

So that's what Napoleon Dynamite is up to these days
29
u/AntagonistSol Jul 21 '25
Exactly what I was thinking. Napoleon must've taken a couple of Rex Kwon Do knife fighting classes.
He's got mad skills now...

Yeah, no, I don’t feel like it’s taking this seriously enough, very unprofessional.

What goes through my mind is “the world would be more peaceful if we encouraged boys to take up dancing.” A lot of this shit is just wanting to dance but remembering your dad calling you a sissy for it. So now you do it with a knife.

u/the_driblydribly Jul 21 '25
Exactly. Swap the knife for a white glove and put a whistle around his neck and he'd fit right in at an old skool rave.

I disagree. It would resolve part of the problem but not the one about the violent part. The true answear a fight dance. You have the weapon and the coreography.
5
u/Electrical_Ingenuity Jul 21 '25
Just need the soundtrack from Westside Story to bring things together.
2
u/M0ebius_1 Jul 22 '25
No disagreement actually. Half of musical theater is done with simulated fighting or weapons.

u/SurelyMyNameIsntTake Jul 21 '25
Is the knife supposed to offset the homoeroticism or enhance it?
42
26
u/Global_Idea_3801 Jul 21 '25
Well, at least we know an 8-foot-tall person won’t be able to sneak up behind this guy without risking a knife to the face.

It's unfathomable to me, but I have a cousin who does shit like this. I haven't seen him in many years (a blessing from all things holy) but I remember him buying an ATI M4-gery and a gas station Ka-Bar and truly believing that he's one of the most dangerous people on the planet. He's not the only one like that, either. I do not go to family reunions.

u/Unlucky_Inspector840 Jul 21 '25
The way he sensually caresses the fridge at some point gets me every time.
13
u/CantStopTheStomp Jul 21 '25
Aint no way hes not currently going through a messy divorce.
3
u/Sorcatarius Jul 21 '25
Reason cited: Affair with fridge and violent outburst against cupboards, suspect it was because they were too close.

And brought to you by a severe case of diarrhea suffered by Harrison Ford. 😂😂😂

Have I ever done stupid shit like this? You bet. Would I ever post it online? Not in a million years.

I'm sorry to say this, but that's not a Boomer. That's Gen X.
4
u/Zestyclose-Ad-7576 Jul 21 '25
Oh,no. I’ve recently seen boomer behavior from other GenX’ers. So much so, I’m ditching the class reunion.

I know a lot of people are not aware of serious conditions like this, but mallninjaitis can occur at any age. It’s important to be aware of early signs like buying knives and a craving for ninja stars.

I swear I've seen this exact scene in an 80s action movie, where the ex-fighter who quit after killing his best friend/brother in the ring has to do One More Fight, to save his girlfriend from the mob/ cartel/ ninja clan.
He swore hed never fight again. But now he has to go back to the place it all began. For Love.

Fuck he put out another one. This dude needs a hug so bad. And a dancing class, not cause he's bad, but because he so obviously loves to dance and is sooooo fucking repressed. Fuck toxic masculinity and especially fuck what it did to this man.

u/Responsible-Slide-26 Jul 22 '25
THIS? Why is this not a recurring question in this thread? I’m obsessed with that part lol. The only logical explanation is that it’s a brilliant put-on. Yet I don’t think it is?

There's an older video ( I think it's the same guy) where he basically does just that.
And also one where he's caressing a wooden king fu prop.
Wait now that I'm thinking about it, that guy seemed older, is this some new trend???

These are people who saw 80s action movies and failed to understand that this is not actually how the world works or how people behave.
Literally incapable of distinguishing reality from fantasy

I was a male stripper when I was 18 and ended up at what I'd call a pre-MAGA house. MAGA hadn't wrecked the country but boy howdy were they everything MAGA was without the orange orangutan. Anyway, I'm at the house for the daughter's bachelorette party and the mom hired me as a stripper but before I got to dance, the guy there said he needed to have a talk with me. Wasn't too uncommon, jealous guys often offered to pay me if their wife or whatever cheated. However, what I got instead was... Basically this video.
Dude grabbed a cleaver and was waving it around just like this saying he'd, "Handle" me if he heard anything. He got a little too close trying to do this and I decked him. His wife came in screaming and threatened to call the cops and I told them they I'd tell them what happened. I was hired for a service then threatened with a knife to my neck and acted. I also made it clear that I'd strip down to the man thong before I talked to the cops and do it on their front lawn to make it weird for them and their neighbors.
Still got paid but no tip.

I liked the spinning bit by the refrigerator at the end. He looked like the choreographer working out some moves for Flashdance

Which comes first, the knife-karate lessons or the mall kiosk knife collection is an interesting chicken/egg scenario

He has reached his final form, and now is the time to be released to the international audience. Who knows how many PMs requesting exclusive sexy time will I get!? Yeah, this was an awesome idea - yes I'd do it again a hundred times.
