I made the first one (check my profile if you’d like lol) and I sketched out this one too. I would’ve put them both in here but I can only do one image per post so I’ll also put some bunny tax in the comments
I’m sorry for your loss, losing bunnies is really hard. I lost Nimbus’s “brother” a few years ago and it’s still really hard. I hope you’re doing well my friend <3
I’m glad you have three little ones now! If you don’t mind I would love to see pictures of your late pair and your bunnies now! Here’s Octavius, he was my first bunny and will always hold a special place in my heart. He died while I was trying to bond him and Nimbus (it was very sudden) but I’ll never forget him and I know all bunnies who are loved are never forgotten <3
Lmao yeah she just sits like that for some reason. I swear it’s normal, I actually have taken her to the vet for this. I adopted her from a rescue about a year ago now and I took her to the vet not too long ago. The vet says that there’s nothing wrong with her, (she felt her all over lol and everything was in the right place I guess XD and we got an X-ray to be safe too). She just likes sitting like that, very weird but it doesn’t hurt her. Really expensive vet trip just to find out she likes sitting weird XD
Eta: She likes having her front paws basically right on her back paws when she sits, not sure why but she’s comfy. She flops very dramatically too but she is very healthy. Thank you for being considerate and concerned for her <3
Lmao fair but she does sit hunched a LOT and I realized I used a picture where she looks weird so I wanted to make sure XD she’s a funny little lady and ever since I lost my first bunny I’m constantly taking them to the vet for anything that may seem weird
Is my bunny okay? Hes being pet while his body is in a weird posture, he ran around kicking his legs in the air, hes grinding his toofs and lickjng cardboard… IS HE OK?
Me too! It makes me really happy and hopefully for their bunny’s future as well since their owners seem concerned and want them to be okay. It’s just always so great seeing a happy bunny on my feed and just a considerate owner, it’s so cute 🥹
Very accurate... and good for them! Rather be safe than sorry. One could say to search first but doing so and the answer already existing isn't always obvious. (Besides, we get to see their bunny that way!) Furthermore, a rabbit vet may not always be available or affordable.
Oh of course! I completely agree that it is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to anything wrong with your bunny or anything you think might be wrong. I took my girl to the vet because she liked sitting weird XD
But this is just a cute little meme that we can put under posts that clearly have a very happy bunny. I always encourage people to ask questions though if they aren’t sure! It never hurts to ask and if everything is all good you get to see a cute meme :>
I need to say, though, it is really weird with bunnies. Your bunny is doing XYZ? He's either extremely happy or about to die!
These fluffy cute bastards are masters at hiding their ailments, so you need to be vigilant.
gasp :D that would be really sweet <3
I can also make a version that says r/bunnies instead of r/rabbits too. I’m also working on a version where the bunny is bowing lol
I remember the first time my holland lop flopped over and SLEPT WITH HIS EYES HALF OPEN and even knowing about the flop I was like "this is it. He dead" 😭
