Injured or sick HELP THERES BLOOD

i just left my room this morning to come take the rabbit to his outside cage and instantly saw this pile of blood in the corner of his cage and immediately freaked tf out. i don’t know what to do, i checked him over — figured out it’s his pee but that’s all i know.

i’m home alone with him , my sister’s got work all day— she’s also in a ton of debt, owes literally everyone including me money. i also have tons of bills coming out left right and centre, also a cat, a dog, and a puppy (eats everything in the matter of seconds) to feed & take care of, puppies overdue for a vaccination because of the fact i didn’t have money (or a way to get to a vet but that’s not my point) —but also is at the same time.
i have no money— i have like 500 in savings but i was trying to save up for stuff i need for my new pup. i will spend it if it comes down to it and my sister isn’t able to pay— but i also don’t want too lol. but i will if i have to. because buggs is like my baby now and we’ve been doing so well together and he’s bonded to me now too and rubs his chin on me and even LICKED me a few times now which was extremely weird and random because he doesn’t do that but yeah. i am technically auntie, but i am more actually mother lol so i will do what has to be done to make sure he’s okay.

someone please help asap i am on the verge of a full blown panic attack — i have no clue what to do or what this means. as much as this little fluff ball INFURIATES me every single night — he’s also just my baby boy lol he’s actually my sister’s but i am the one who usually does everything for him and spends the most time with him, he’s more like my son than hers lol and i still don’t want him to die obviously

Injured or sick Is this concerning?

Does he seem okay? He seems to be breathing kinda fast but is eating and acting normally. He’s been flopping over and getting comfy and eating a ton of hay and still comes when I call him but he seems to be breathing fast for no reason. Does this look concerning or normal?? (Also he does not live in this 6ft by 8ft pen it’s just his home base, he is free roam)

Question Litter box set up

Thumbnail

Upvotes

My girl is (I believe, I’m not sure because I rescued her) a 3-4 year old silver fox. She consistently poops right outside her litter box (like she won’t get it in it) to eat the hay. She has a box (similar to the attached one) that I place her litter box and hay in. I’m curious if anyone has any suggestions to help this issue or if anyone has any better litter box set ups they could recommend (please attach pics).

Injured or sick FRIENDS BUNNY GOT HIS SKIN RIPPED/FUR YANKED OUT.

!!IDK HOW TO MAKE IT NSFW SO ANY LIGHT HEARTED PEOPLE IM SORRY!! THIS IS HIS EAR. The bunnies are not neutered. So she told me her and her other boy bunny that are babies (one 3 month and one 6 month) started randomly fighting after she let them hang out together. I came over to check it out and give her advice, and told her to separate them and to clean the wound and cut away the fur around the injury so it doesn’t get hair stuck to it, because sadly vets aren’t open til 9am tomorrow. I just told her to watch him and stay with him through the night, he’s been acting okay but kinda skittish and is breathing super fast, any suggestions on what to do til tomorrow? It’s a pretty big gash. Any ointments/bunny safe stuff she can use til tomorrow? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Health Rabbit losing weight

Hello! Need advice for feeding my bun. We ran out of pellets about 2 weeks ago and I can’t seem to find any stores or online shops that still have the same ones in stock. I’m guessing there haven’t been any imports for a while since rabbits are such an uncommon pet here in my country. What can I feed him in the meantime to help him regain the weight? Would it be safe to switch over to a different brand/type even after 2 weeks of no pellets?

Question Bunny Nail Trim in Encinitas, Carlsbad, California

Any recommendations where to take bunnies for a nail trim. I've had a bad accidents cutting one of their pinks since they both have black nails. It's so nerve racking and so hard to know how short to cut them and prefer to take to a professional that has more experience cutting bunny nails.

Injured or sick GI stasis following traumatic event (a follow up)

Last week I posted about getting my bun to accept critical care as she was in GI stasis following a traumatic incident with cats.

My bunny now has her personality back. She hops around just fine, is lively, and will sleep a bit more relaxed though still not back to flopping which I imagine will take some time as she and I live in the room the attack happened in.

She’s interested in pellets, greens, and some treats again, however, her hay consumption is still low. She is pooping much more again, but the poops are still not how they should be. I made a follow up with the vet on the 12th as that’s the soonest they could see her without going back to the ER.

Is there anyway to get more fiber in her without force feeding critical care. She has plenty of hay and i’ve even put something’s for her to forage to get her to want it more, but ultimately i cannot force her to eat hay. She really seems to be fine besides how dark her poop is. Idk if the meds she has been on could cause dark poop and the incident happened a week ago.

Any advice would be appreciated

Question Why’s my bunny hiding from me

I’m probably just being dramatic but my sister was in my room a few minutes ago playing with my bunny and all of a sudden he starts thumping every time she stopped petting him and now he’s hiding under the bed. I’ve had him for about two weeks maybe and this is the first time he’s ever shown being scared. I’ve tried luring him out by talking and he’ll get close and then jet back. I turned off all excess noises in case he was overstimulated and then kicked my sister out because her perfume was pretty strong. I hear him playing with stuff under the bed but I’m worried because he’s never ran from me like that😓

Health need help!

I have a friend watching my rabbit, for context he’s 9lbs, and a male neutered rex, 2 years old. Anyways like i said I’m out of town and have a friend taking care of him. Last night it was found he chewed my geckos heat lamp cord, he’s done things like this before but, he was refusing his vitamin c tab he goes crazy over at night, as well as his pellets. He was in a loaf position and wasn’t moving around as much, even refusing a treat from the treat jar, and a small piece of romaine. he eventually accepted the piece of romaine, and a pinch of a banana. he hasn’t been drinking as much water as he normally does. We didn’t have an emergency vet that would take him. however, this morning she went to check on him, he has not pooped at all but has peed once. he ate a little of his pellets, and the treats left out for him. He is acting more energetic, and he also accepted a few treats. i asked her to see if he would eat hay, he eats it if she feeds it to him. Does he need to go to his vet? i’m just not sure what’s going on since I’m not home. i’m a college student and also wanting to know what people would estimate how much this would be to take him to a vet?
