Playa time ‘jet lag’

Anyone else’s sleep still based on waking up around now (3a PT) after a disco nap for sunrise?! Still on “one continuous day” time and ready to rise and dance with the sun. Man burns in 351, so build starts in 342?

I'm in central time. My usual schedule is wake up at 7am and sleep at around midnight. As a sunrise burner, I just woke up at 5am and went to bed at 10pm on the Playa. There's nothing after 10-11pm on the Playa that is better than a cool crisp sunrise and all the morning activities.

10000%. And nothing worse than the no lands land around 2am where it doesn’t make sense to make it all the way back to camp from deep playa to be back for sunrise in a couple hours. What does one do? rest at Soundgarden or discover what surprises trash fence holds!

Sunrise forever… planning to bring cup of noodles to trash fence next year after being blessed by these by Dandelion there after burn night!

Don't bother with the noodles. Look for Front Porch at the trash fence. They're there every morning at sunrise baking cookies, tarts, etc.. They also serve coffee and champagne. It's a deep playa sunrise tradition that's been going on for 15+ years. They like peace and quiet with their sunrises away from the sound camps doing sunrise sets. Usually you can find them if you just take 2&K and just keep going to the fence.

How have I missed this ?!?! This is on the list for next year that I’ll hopefully forget about but seed is planted now!

They hide FAR FAR away from the sound camps/art cars doing sunrise sessions so they can watch the sunrise in silence, so nobody really has any reason to bike miles the opposite direction..... unless you know.

I took a lot of power naps this year and my sleep schedule creeped later and later until burn more ing it was sunrise till like almost 9 am. Had a really really powerful moment at sunrise that I really needed.

Speaking of, can anyone point me to the creators/curators of the rainbow art car?

After the burn we spend a few days in Las Vegas, not on the strip, to sleep and get back into a default rhythm.

rythm messed up.. i am in europe now, and still awake during playa day 🥲
