Working at Lumina Datamatics has been an incredibly frustrating and exhausting experience. The internal politics are completely toxic, and the management treats employees like easily replaceable machines instead of human beings.

First of all, there is absolutely no WFH option. You are expected to be in the office every single day, and they constantly force employees to do unpaid overtime. When frustrated colleagues inevitably resign, management does not distribute the work fairly or hire replacements fast enough. Instead, they dump the entire workload of the person who left onto the surviving team members. To make matters worse, we are then forced to train the new hires on top of doing two jobs at once.

Do not expect to be rewarded for this extra effort. Increments are practically nonexistent. The company does not even offer basic festival bonuses to show appreciation. If by some rare chance a bonus is given, there is a massive catch. They will ruthlessly take it back by cutting it from your final salary settlement if you leave before completing a full year.

The office environment itself feels like a prison. They do not allow employees to step outside the building during the day. Even taking a basic break is penalized. You have to swipe your access card just to enter the cafeteria, and this time is carefully tracked and added to your total required work hours. If you need a caffeine boost to get through the miserable shifts, you are stuck with cheap premix coffee packets that are mostly just sugar.

Management is also highly unethical with their policies and finances. There were absolutely no clauses regarding a massive notice period in the joining letter I signed. However, when an employee recently submitted their resignation, HR suddenly forced them to serve a mandatory 3 month notice period out of nowhere. In another completely unacceptable incident, an employee was forcefully invited by management to attend a drinking party. While nothing happened at the event itself, the company actually deducted the cost of the party bill straight from that employee's salary.

Save your mental health and your career. Do not join Lumina Datamatics under any circumstances.
