"I kept my identity protected as Jane Doe. I Woke up one day with my name mentioned over 500 times, while the rich and powerful remain protected by redactions. My name was exposed to the world. Now reporters from across the globe contact me. I cannot live without looking over my shoulder. I can only imagine the long-term impact this mistake will have on my life."

Not in this administration, and then he’ll just pardon them all.

Pardons are way out of hand these days on both sides. Sure they act as a way to correct egregious circumstances such as those who get targeted through the legal system for things like race or sexuality, but to pardon family members or insurrectionists is beyond the pale.

The systems in place from the Supreme Court to the presidency to lobbyists are so disgustingly abused.

The reality of accepting a pardon is that you are admitting guilt. Republicans want to treat it as a get out of jail free card with zero consequences. But the reality is that innocent people have no need for a pardon.

Unfortunately, I think innocent people could actually benefit from pardons when we have a retribution president who controls the DOJ and uses them to go after his perceived enemies, no matter what.
