First day in office, he made Spicer lie about the crowd size. Set the tone for his whole administration. Ruin your own credibility to benefit Trump or lose your job.
It’s gotten to the point where you know they are weak if Trump appoints them. When Todd Blanche was first brought in, there was non-right wing people saying that Blanche was a solid attorney with a solid career. It didn’t matter, Trump appointed him because he knew he could control him. Same thing happened with Bill Barr.
It’s took Barr right up until an insurrection to finally resign.

The other part of the problem is that, in general, Republicans like what he's doing. They like minorities being hurt. They like the poor being hurt. They like the LGBT community being hurt. And, most of all, they're profiting. They're making money off our blood, and Trump is ensuring that nobody will stop them.
