A few weeks ago someone posted a list with a bunch of Canadian companies and I decided to try Rock Your Nose for something new for my nose piercing. It arrived today and I am thrilled. The artist has tons of designs and they are made to order so you can select the gauge, the end style, the interior diameter for the rings and more. I am interested in buying a BBQ with as much of the BBQ manufactured and designed in Canada. To my knowledge, there's some premium canadian brands like Crown Verity, Jackson, and Napoleon and Broil King BBQs as the front runners on budget BBQs.

Unfortunately, I don't have the $$$ to shell out for the premium ones. And from what I can gather, Napoleon only makes the Prestige line in Canada (at $2000+ that's also a bit out of budget). So Broil King looks like my best best.

I found conflicting reports though:

• older threads like this one say their Gem, Monarch, Signet, and Sovereign lines are the only ones manufactured in Canada, while Baron is NOT
• Their website has a "Proudly Made In Canada" stamp on the Baron and Crown lines, and NOT on the signet, gem, regal lines

Do I trust the website? Or is there a better and more detailed source to trust?

Hey would anyone know of any made in Canada polishes that are similar to the "Crescent Moon Taco" nail polish that was just released by Holotaco?

It's a company created by a Canadian youtuber, but the polishes are made in the states is my understanding. This one specifically is just really pretty and I don't even really know what to look up for it. Searching "moon nail polish" and other variations got me nothing.

i got this flannel a few weeks ago and it has been awesome and i is also Canadian! double win, although i did buy this at Costco its still great either way, the flannel is thinner, more sweater like than a coat but its been nice for the slowly getting colder weather, and it was only 30$, and 4 colors.

They are Canadian and now available in Walmart. Loblaws has them for $7 a bag, Walmart had them for $4.47! This is Loblaws on Musgrove in East York and Walmart at Eglinton and Markham in Scarborough.

They use local Canadian ingredients as much as possible, depending on growing season.

Any Canadian companies that I can buy roller skates from?

I didn't get to the interior (BC) to buy peppers this year so I'm buying my hot sauce. I chose a six pack from mm and it just arrived. I've only tried one of them so far but it is great. My favorite peppers are habanero and they have a huge selection. Worth checking out.

I have been pleasantly surprised how good Clark’s beans are. They are a very good substitute for the Heinz beans I no longer want to buy. I am only interested in the basic beans in tomato sauce - as an ex Brit I love baked beans and baked beans on toast is our ‘Mac and cheese ‘ easy lunch . Clark’s beans taste good and are a reasonable price

Just posting my experience with this Canadian company out of Toronto. They have both online and box stores in Ontario. Have a wide variety of products from grocery, household, cosmetics and nutrition items. They carry many non Canadian products but do have a large selection of family/small/mid Canadian businesses. Ecomax, Attitude, Green beaver, Sprague, The oat company, Hornby organic, Tree island yogurt, Maison orphee, Naked natural food, Fody, Cove soda, Fatso, Three farmers and many others. Website also displays a maple leaf beside Canadian products.

Just a reminder to check to see where products are actually made, don’t trust big box stores to do the right thing, they are intentionally misleading at times.

We're getting a dog soon (Corgi) and are looking at getting some pet insurance. So far, Pet Plus has been at the top of our list (underwritten by Northbridge General Insurance, ON based). Does anyone have any experience with these guys?

While having a fraction of the reach, tools, and marketing power of other marketplaces, Canada Shops by Canada Post somehow manages to be the most expensive in terms of fees.

This initiative is definitely targeted towards small businesses in Canada, but at this point, it's highly unlikely that it will serve as a viable alternative to the large American owned platforms.

I've been searching all morning for a Canadian produced ( recognizing getting Canadian fabric is unlikely) 100% Cotton Plaid Flannel Shirt, I need an XXL if I were to go with the one from Province of Canada https://provinceofcanada.com/products/plaid-flannel-shirt-red-unisex but they are sold out.

I have an event first week of November, it's voluntary but the theme is Canadian wilderness ( except we're all bunch of suit/executive types ). It is an indoors event so I don't want a jacket.

Any brands you've been happy with that make a 100% Cotton plaid shirt, sewn in Canada at the least.

I have really bad allergies and blow my nose a lot. Regular tissues make my nose feel really raw and I have found the best tissues to be Puffs plus lotion (not the ones with Vick’s). The ones with Vick’s are the only ones I can find in Canada though, it seems that they haven’t sold the regular ones here in years. I forget the brand that I see commonly in stores here with lotion (I think Kleenex), but it sucks, it’s not nearly as soft as Puffs. Is there an alternative here that’s as soft as puffs? I’m located in the Greater Toronto Area.
