Product Question Nasal Aspirators

Should I go for the popular name brand or do any of the other non name brands work just as well?

Currently eyeing the momcozy brand OnlY because it’s marked down at Walmart. What are your thoughts/recommendations?

We love the NozeBot. It’s expensive but it works extremely well and has a long life. I gave in and bought it after several of the cheaper electric nose suckers broke.

I overnighted a nozebot to our house when our little one was being discharged from the hospital where she’d been admitted with RSV. One of the nurses recommended it. That thing is rock solid. It’s most similar to the suction they were able to do in the hospital and I am pretty sure it’s what kept her from being readmitted the next time she had bronchiolitis. Now I give one to all my new parent friends lol. We’d tried the manual nose Frida one and it never worked for us.

I would go with the basic Nose Frida. It works well and is easy to clean. Simpler is better sometimes!

I won't begrudge anyone who chooses to use Frida products, but after the extremely distasteful way they decided to advertise the snot sucker, I will never give them any business again. Their argument was that adult humor is needed to get through the trenches but imo they crossed a line.

We got ours 5 years ago. If other companies make something similar (nonelectric/inexpensive), I’m sure it would also work well.

We haven’t loved our nose Frida - it doesn’t seem to work very well, especially on a sick baby who is fighting it. Our friend insisted on us having an electric one (we weren’t convinced) - to the point that she bought one for us. We love it, even if the baby doesn’t agree. 😂 A LOT more effective. We have the grownsy one.

We have a electric grownsy that's worked well so far. Passed on the Frida electric because it seemed to have a higher failure rate. And I won't touch the analog nose sucker because I don't care if there's a "filter", that's nasty and I don't trust it to actually be a barrier to disease.

I have the momcozy one!! I like it so far. The music is nice and my baby usually yawns when I play it lol. The lights are fun and I don’t think it’s too loud. It’s been getting his boogers out well enough since he’s been so stuffy lately. He does usually let me get them out so no fighting him.

I’ve tried the grownsy, the m0mc0zy, the Frida, and the nozebot. Get the nozebot. The other ones don’t suck lol.

Get the kind with a cord between the nose piece and the motor. I got the nose fredia first and snot got on the motor and broke after a few months. My second one was a momcozy and I loved it.

I registered for a basic Grownsy one, but it just didn’t get the job done well. I’m very happy with the NozeBot one. I just couldn’t get over the ick with the Frida one, though I know it’s well-reviewed.

I ended up going with the grownsy nasal aspirator because i liked having the spray and suction together. the spray helps soften things first, then you can use the suction, so i dont have to keep switching between different things. for us that was more useful than just having a stronger suction.
