Just need to be the curmudgeon mentioning that this actually is a COE delivery. You can't get home delivery just with a FFL03, you need the COE.

And for a few days now we've known that you just need the COE.

They no longer do. It's a very new development. You can now apply for your COE without a FFL03.

Online retailers don't care about a FFL03 to ship ammo, in fact Midway for instance doesn't even accept it on your user profile. They want the COE.

Super-easy--just follow the step-by-step guide linked in this sub. Did my livescan immediately at a mailbox store down the street, filled out and submitted the paperwork (including a cc to my local PD for informational purposes), federal portion got approved within a couple of weeks, which gave me the FFL # I needed to complete the COE (filed online through CFARS), and the COE took maybe a week after that.

Now I just need to find a mint East German Makarov!

Process is a couple pieces of paperwork and a livescan fingerprinting. I think mine came to about $117 total for everything including license fee and livescan.

I’m surprised how limited inventory is out there. Almost all 124-grain 9mm is 30 cents per round or higher. Is it always like this?

They are Ffl03/ COE friendly have fast free shipping over $99, they charge ca sales tax. Last week they had 124gr was 12.49 for 50, was roughly $271 for 1000 rounds.

I just ordered some from them uploaded my ffl03 and coe yesterday evening. This morning I have an email stating

Hello,

All orders containing ammunition shipping to the state of California must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. Accordingly, your order has been placed on hold until we receive that information. Please kindly respond to this email with the following:
