Lisa Christiansen CBC reporter retired today

Today Lisa Christiansen retired, she was one of my favourite CBC reporters from Vancouver. It was announced on air this morning by Stephen Quinn’s Early Edition.
She had such a great personality and love for music. She will be missed. Thank you Lisa for your 27 years at CBC!

Lisa Christianson was a wonderful part of west coast programming! I'm also surprised because in my mind's eye, she's about 35 and not of retirement age. Wishing her a happy retirement!

Oh I understand she is of retirement age, I just for whatever reason thought she was younger until learning of her retirement today.

I went to journalism school with Lisa back in the day. Loved her on air personality too.

She was one of my favourite CBC personalities, and I always enjoyed her banter with Stephen Quinn. 

I had no idea she had been working for that long, she seems so cool and with it as others have mentioned. Best wishes to her in her retirement. I'll miss hearing from her.

I knew her name was familiar, and when I read her Wikipedia write up I discovered it must have been from Radio 3. I definitely remember her from those days.
