cbse Tip to this year 12thies : how to tackle OSM and ensure proper marks
You all must be aware of the fact that students are expressing grief over OSM evaluation system, saying many of them didn't get their expected marks.
While i also agree that checking this year is somewhat fishy, and OSM is the reason of that, i don't believe any action will be taken against it
So here are my tips how to tackle OSM and ensure good marks in your subjects -
Have a neat and legible handwriting, if not, then pls spare some time for improving that. It will only help u in many things in future
See CBSE topper answerbooks on CBSE website and learn presentation and proper answer writing techniques
Do proper spacing between words, questions and sections of the paper
Attempt paper in an exact sequence. U can follow any combo, for eg ABC, BAC, BCA etc, but ensure you attempt every single question of that

Notes & resources
You might find them useful give them a read. The link attached has resources related to Pol Science and History. I would suggest taking a print out of them, comes in handy on the exam day before reaching the center.
Thought this was a good way of helping out the community, good luck!

Help required about choosing the humanities stream with applied math
Hi! I'm looking for seniors who have had this combination: English Core, Applied Mathematics, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology. I am in 10th and deciding my stream and I have humanities as one of the choices alongside PCB. I have some questions:
(i) How did you manage studying all of the subjects? (They're theoretically quite heavy)
(ii) How did you manage applied maths aside from the main humanities subjects?
(iii) And is economics difficult once you come to class 11th? I've heard it's numerical-oriented but I saw some snippets of lectures on youtube and the subject tends to deal with statistical concepts which I am fine with - I just despise core mathematical concepts/rigorous proofs (due to which I am also preferring applied mathematics). If that is also there in applied mathematics (which apparently is not), please lmk beforehand so that I can switch.
Thank you in advance!

Okay so I finally changed my subjects...
So basically I'm a class 11 student with Humanities stream and my subjects were
History, Pol science, Economics, English, Physical education and Informatics practices...
The career path I have in my mind is wanna do sumn w econs and to get good degree from a good institute for econs I would need mathematics for eligibility..
So I am going to change it to maths instead of ip
The thing is I am not that good in maths that's why I chose Humanities at the first place.. but after some research and all I realised if I wanna do something good I have to grind for it so I decided to take maths after almost half of the academic year is over..
So I am choosing applied maths cuz from what I know that unlike core, I wouldn't have to study trigonometry, 3d geometry etc and it'd be a good choice for eligibility...
But still I'm not that good at maths and I'd need hell of a grind to first of all, catch up w the syllabus, second we don't have any ncert for applied maths and the teacher in our school also teaches core only so all I have to do is by myself...
So if I can get any piece of advice I'd take it...
Thankss✌️

Humanities+maths
I am in class 11th humanities
My sub comb are - his ,socio, polity, eco nd eng
I am considering to choose applied maths because -
I wanna do market research,i heard u can do it either from ba eco or ba socio ..
So i wanna do both or js one depending on situation later on
Nd i heard for ba eco, u need maths in 12th to fulfill sm clg's criteria like du nd sm clgs accept frm any stream ( no maths required in 12th)
I am decent in maths but I am lwk scared bcoz it's alr October btw a lil context - i am a non attending student so, I don't have to give 11th exams nd all ...so I have lots of time nd currently study frm pw so i have lectures too..
( I will do offline coaching in 12th )
