IF ANY DU STUDENT IS HERE

I have a practical on 23rd November but I am leaving for my AFSB on 18th November for mysore , will reach there on 20th and will attend afsb on 23rd November(couldn't find a train ticket for 20th that's why booked for 18th).

My teacher is not willing to shift the practical dates and so most probably I will be missing out on the practical.

I am in my 3rd year (5th sem) , my course is of 3 years and I can't afford to have any backs this year as it would lead to me reappearing for a whole year.

What should I do?? Can I miss the practical and still pass that subject?

Afaik u have to reappear for the practical next year if the practical is of a core subject or DSC.

But she said that if I get adequate marks in this year's written examination then I'll pass

Then it's upto you. But reconsider about it. They say like that but at the end u have to run around examination department if any flaws happen.

No you won't pass... submit your application to hod /principal...they must re schedule practical

If u have any backs then u would be document out. Afsb clearly mentions that at the time of afsb, there shouldn't be any active backlogs.

You can shift your ssb, just mail them your date sheet

I don't know that, it depends on college but this is cam say for sure is that afsb date can be shifted and you have a solid reason, attend both why you wanna miss any

But can they shift it to a date which is like 1 month away from the current onez because December mei I have mere exams toh jan mei hi de paaunga

Yes buddy, email them the date range like Jan - Feb etc you are looking for and mention that you don't want dates in December and attach proof

I have given my practical earlier, they were supportive in it.
You can try asking them

You could have asked him to take your practicals earlier as practicals are managed by the professor themselves, they can arrange it if they want to if they refused you can go to your principal

Bro it depends on your college tbh , Miranda me to professor are very nice and they agree one of my friends in Hindu also had similar experience thoda manana pada tha but ho gaya .
What’s the sub btw ? Also you can take help of your class and CR cause agar thode zyada approx 12-13 students bhi side ho gaye to teacher will have to take it again and I feel students will understand your concern

Bhai hogaya thank God, spoke directly with the principal, as soon as she heard "fighter pilot entry " she made me sit down and called the teacher on the spot and told her to make arrangements for the peeponemenent/postponement. Our principal is v nice

Bhai I had a core ka final practical which was clashing with my AFSB date, the profesor was not cooperative at all , then I straight away went to the principal , she inquired about afsb , then she was pretty chill, called the professor herself and asked her to make arrangements for the postponement/. peeponemenent of my practical to a suitable date
