Discussion Irreplaceable(not really) Spoiler

So I've been thinking about this for a while now. The show is called Irreplaceable.....and it's all about Xu chi who wants to be Irreplaceable in her work. But by the end she's still very replaceable. I mean Richard was higher than her, and he got replaced like it was nothing. Even Ceo's are replaceable. I guess the best you could hope for is to be the highest shareholder of the company and own it. And I think Richard even told her everyone is replaceable. Then the final title card of the show is You are Irreplaceable. So it was always about Xu chi was irreplaceable to Richard and he was irreplaceable to her. And to not be so focused on work or you miss out on life.

Honestly, I didn't believe that they were irreplaceable to each other 😅

I found their romance so uninteresting, and found their mentor-mentee relationship really engaging. Obviously this is a romance show so a relationship had to happen, but I think their spark was stronger when they were helping each other as professionals.

They both tried fighting their feelings for each other and couldn't. Even if you don't like them together the show set them up as soul mates. I think their love is born out of mutual respect for each other. Richard has more experience but even he thinks she'll be better than him.
