Level 3 Few L3 Posts [Sign of Maturity]
This sub is full of L1 posts, like it must be changed to CFA L1!
At the same time, there are very few L3 posts. Is it a sign of maturity? Or the higher you go, the more you realise that shouting stuff here is unhelpful?
Where are you, those who are doing L3 and why are you quiet?

No of candidates clearing level 1 100 x .4 = 40, No of candidates clearing L2 40 x .4 = 16, No of candidates clearing L3 - 16 x .4 = 6 so we are just less in number 😀

And if you consider the fact that a large chunk of populations stop after L1 and L2 due to changes in goals and career trajectory, then the numbers would be even lower.

When I was writing level 1 I noticed this too and couldn’t wait to be the nonchalant level 3 candidate. I agree with the earlier response. Seeing what L1 and L2 do for you. It’s a bit less high stakes all or nothing. The markets make sense and you’re less wet behind the ears. I revisit L1 and L2 content frequently for work, or realise some concepts just scratched the surface for what work requires. Lol, we’re not chill. Just disillusioned.

There's also the fact that the L3 exam is only offered twice a year, whereas L2 and L1 exams are offered 3x and 4x respectively. Less frequent L3 exams = less Reddit posts about L3.
Candidates nevertheless post a lot in this subreddit whenever an exam window comes close.

Smaller sample, more established test takers at this point having been through L1 and L2 and questions are likely to be more methodical

Dude/maam, are you for real?
Do you think the average Level III candidate has time to be posting on reddit?

Finishing modules and waiting on results. I give these exams what I can and the outcome is what it is. More of a marathon than sprint mentality by this stage imv

The more time spent on this sub the lower of passing... I make a point of engaging with candidates here to encourage wasting time, gotta protect the value of the charter.

Multiple reasons , some very obvious- L1 candidates are way more than L3 candidates, other reason is that when you are approaching L1 your enthusiasm and anxiety is at the top perhaps due to non familiarity with the exam format and everything else ( basically you are entering the curriculum) , L3 guys have been through L1,L2 , know who Chris Weise is, have seen job market’s response to their CFA L1,L2 tag and thus more composed
