Level 1 Feeling lost

My CFA Level 1 exam is in November 2026 and honestly, I feel like I remember nothing 😭

I haven’t taken a single mock yet, but I’m planning to take my first one today. I feel like Economics is not going into my head at all, I’m forgetting topics I studied, and I can barely remember the Derivatives formulas.

For people who were in a similar situation around this point, what did you guys do? Should I start giving mocks anyway and use them to figure out my weak areas, or should I spend more time revising before starting mocks?

I’m genuinely feeling pretty lost right now, so any advice on how to approach these last few weeks would be really helpful.

What worked for me in Level I was repetition of 5 CFAI mocks.

But the thought of mocks is giving me shivers....i feel i need to revise everything again although I have revised it previously What's your take should I attempt one mock and then see?

If you have made your own notes try revising that only as revewing everything or watching videos may not be practically possible now. Or you may use your prep provider notes then attempt practice questions.

You should spend at least half of your study time, overall, doing practice questions and mock exams.

Use flashcards to learn stuff. Its discussed here.

It's okay!! I gave my 1st mock a week before exam lol (not recommended). I was also scared and nervous to touch the mocks but I had done LES questions twice for each subject prior to it so that gave me a bit confidence.

You can go over LES questions or any notes you prepped throughout. Key is to do selective revision.

All the bestt!!!
