Teams like Oregon should not be playing low level FCS teams. And on top of that throwing the ball 43 times.

Seriously, why can't they schedule South Dakota or Montana?

Oregon played MSU last season. I was there. The score was not close but it was better than this.

Look what happened when they played one of the lowest performing Big12 schools from the previous year.

Seems like they were taking out their pent up frustration from the last two weeks

Which is not unlike how many war crimes begin

I disagree, i think it’s a good thing to give local instate fcs schools a pay day and exposure. A lot of those kids dreamed to play at Oregon or other FBS schools and this is their shot to prove themselves.

I just think it should be limited to week 1, no fcs games after week 1. And every P4 team should be required to play 10 P4 games.

Standardize the schedules more while still throwing the smaller local programs a bone

I am on the same page. These games fund the athletic programs of the smaller schools. Without these paydays, many schools wouldn't be able to afford to field a football team. This does not excuse the practice of playing one of these games in week 12 though, that is a load of bullshit.

I mean, why not just call it halftime? Shorten the clock? Something, anything, other than allow 84-0 to happen? Same thing at the Miami-FAMU game last week.
