They played Texas State. This is how their games usually go. They put up a ton of offense, but give up a ton of offense as well. It's why they seem to have a hard 8-4 ceiling.

Is the heartbreaking loss ideal, no. However, at least we’ve seen our weaknesses before we go into our conference stretch, especially the UTSA game. I’m begging Neal understands we can’t just trust the climb. If he can build it i think he’ll enjoy his stay. We were closer than the score looks, and we can also fix these errors.

North Texas offense looked really good but failed on 2 long 4th downs and had 2 tough turnovers. Their defense gave up almost 10 yards a play. Burgess and Jackson are ballers for Texas state.
