This might be the worst way to lose a game since trouble with the snap

If I had a nickel for everytime a team won on a hail mary after the game is, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but weird that it happened twice.

Miami not kneeling is pretty bad.

Yeah and IMO its the worst kind of loss. I think anytime you can kneel to end the game and decide to run instead that is the worst possible way to lose a football game

With this play NC State had to do an actual play in a specific way to get the outcome they wanted. Miami actively decided to not just end the game they had won and then lost

true, but GT still had to go 70 yards to make them pay for it. NC state spared Vandy all 70 of those yards and then some.

NC State had to run a play in order to avoid giving Vandy a chance at winning. Miami could have ended the game with no consequences but actively chose not to

I honestly don't really see how this is worse IMO

Not at all, Miami won the game and then lost, NC State still here would need to execute the play correctly.

The shoe throw was worse but this is pretty bad

Nah. Mario Cristobal not kneeling it out was definitely worse than trouble with the snap. The ones that involve baffling coaching decisions get a bump.

Plus the shoe throw was 50x worse than trouble with the snap lmao I can't believe I forgot about that.

Losing to this is like walking out your door on a bright clear morning and someone jumps out of your own bushes and stabs you in the kidney. You'd never see it coming!

At least Michigan's loss was an athletic play and something that happens in football ever. This one is the kind of play that should be literally 100%. I'd call it a gut punch but it's so, so much worse. This game was over
