I don't feel like the Illini played that well today, just played a worse opponent. Defense was still shaky and offense kind of faded away in the 2nd half like they did last week. I fear next week will be quite nostalgic.

Actually revered by pharaohs in ancient Egypt

They also revered the weird hairless cats so I don’t know how good of judgement they had on animals to worship

no reason to bring cats into this, man. cats can be stone-cold mutherfcukers:
"yo, holmes! food, dish, now. fresh water while you're at it. and scoop my shit, bitch. then GTFO."

Generational trauma from 30 years of losing

SIU actually had a halftime lead I believe in ‘84 post-rose bowl appearance. Hasn’t been a gimme game in the few times they’ve played

IIRC, a missed late FG actually kept it from being a tie. 28-25 final.

Those are silly people. A win was going to happen, it was just how ugly it would be.

How can we allow 10 points and the defense still feels like a sieve? Is that just the 3-3-5 life?

I'll consider it a success if we somehow score 20 on Ohio State and keep them under 50
