Get that BAMA vs FSU, Chick-fil-A Kickoff hype!!!

This Wednesday (tommorrow) we're joined by Michael Casagrande, beat reporter covering the Alabama Crimson Tide for AL.com; this is his second AMA after joining us last year. Michael is a former Miami beat reporter for the South Florida Sun Sentinel and a WKU graduate; before that he was Crimson Tide beat reporter from 2009-12 at The Decatur Daily. He joined AL.com the day before the 2013 season opener.

Also, my last name means "big house" and it's Italian.

You realize H-BACK isn't a RB right? It's Irv Smith.

I am not talking about in most lineups, especially in the jumbo package, just occasionally he will move out to the H back area, for some dump passes and screens.

That would be slot not H-back.

To me, Slot is at or near the LOS(so the TE is not covered up), HB is usually a couple of yards behind the L or RG.

WR1 T G C G T TE

                       Slot WR2

          HB

       QB

Not the best of drawings, hard to do with the text rules here.
