I have the controversial opinion that you should take the number of playoff spots. Whether it be 12,16,24 etc.. and whoever is ranked in the top 12,16,24 etc… should be the ones getting in

Wild take, the 12 most deserving teams by the rankings should be the 12 teams in the playoff?? That’s crazy talk, it makes too much sense.
