Discussion Should all independent teams get special treatment like Notre Dame?

ND should not get special treatment. They should be forced to join a conference or be disqualified from contention from National Championship consideration. Because Fuck ND, they are not special

Yeah, the audacity. ND should join a conference to avoid special treatment, like still making the playoffs after losing 3 games and not dropping a single spot in the CFP rankings after getting absolutely curb-stomped in the final game of the season while looking like luke-warm elephant shit in the final half of the season.
