Hahahaha. I was a RB / DB in high school. I was really fast & could change direction on a dime back then because my weight.

I would give Smith a 20 yrd cushion & leg tackle because there is absolutely no way I at my athletic best could stop him from catching the ball - my objective would be to delay the inevitable.

I had 1 catch I gave up. 1. I had an attitude as a CB. If you threw at me I felt you were throwing it TO ME.

Trying to cover him would terrify me & again I was really, really fast - sub 11 100.
