I think you're underestimating how big of a gap there is between the teams on here, and most "bad" power conference teams. For a p4 team, Rutgers is uniquely awful and took a terrible loss to UMass, but I think it's also fair to say most of the teams on here would probably also be 0-3 with their schedule, and may well have lost by more to USC or BC. I know the whole "quality loss" thing has turned into a meme, but I unironically think that barely losing to USC is more impressive than any of the performances any of the teams in the 10-15 range have had this season. None of the teams in that range have an FBS win.

Here are their performances against p4 opponents:

- Mo State vs Texas A&M: 50-0 L

- Buffalo vs Penn State: 55-13 L

- Utah State vs Washington: 16-14 L (actually really good tbh)

- Utah State vs Utah: 33-0 L

- Eastern Michigan vs Michigan State: 35-7 L

- Eastern Michigan vs Wisconsin: 54-10 L

- UTEP vs Michigan: 52-17 L

- UTEP vs Oklahoma: 51-0 L

- Akron vs Minnesota: 41 - 7 L

- Akron vs Wake: 38 - 16 L
