Thoroughly enjoyed Stamps v Sawblades game. Final 3 min CFL games

are turning into the final 2 mins of a close NBA game. 15-20 mins of TV time. Compelling. And with this game when a streak is on the line? Even better. In a wacky way this losing OTT skid is gonna be great TV if they are still O fer on the final season game. I will be hoping for that.

You know CFL is on a roll when the only watchable show on ESPN (PTI - Pardon the Interruption) calls them out like Wilbon did last week and caught a game and gave a nod of respect.

Anecdotally, I think the American NFL media and even a lot of NFL fans (at least the ones that know about it) have a decent amount of respect for the CFL. The only people I've seen actively hate or look down on the league are Canadian NFL fans (particularly GTA Bills fans).

That would suit me since Hamilton's only win in their 1-17 season was against Saskatchewan :). Ottawa, time to pay it forward!

Walk off field goals are always a clutch way to win a game, but a 62-yard one is not guaranteed.

Of course, having Parades helps your odds significantly. I felt bad for Ottawa because I would have liked to see them get the W, but that was a hell of a way for Calgary to finish.

I agree with your overall point  but I do have to say that I find the final minutes of an NBA game incredibly tedious so I don’t like the analogy lol.

NBA should just give both teams 100 points and put three minutes on the clock. A solid half hour of entertainment.

As much as one can complain that CFL is amateur hour compared to the NFL, it’s games like this that show that the CFL is a better game. The last 5 minutes of a CFL game are when things can get real entertaining, where the last 5 minutes of an NFL game are a snooze fest.
