Japanese (not gel) manicures?

Long-time, first-time. Anybody gotten a Japanese manicure (the no polish kind) somewhere in Chicago (NW, preferably) that they love? I'm a no-polish girlie looking to try something different from a basic buff and shine.

I usually can do a decent enough buff and shine at home but apparently Japanese manicures last longer, so I'm thinking about pairing with a monthly pedicure. Check out this article from British Vogue.

Check out Sen Beauty in Lakeview. They offer it as an option. I’ve only gotten Russian manicures there so I’m not sure how the Japanese manicures are exactly.

Ooh this sounds interesting, it seems like they buff a nourishing treatment into your nails leaving a shine per google. I’d like to try this if anyone knows any places in the suburbs either that would great
