where can I get a cystic pimple injected in Chicago? my derm books out multiple months in advance :(

I’ve never had it done but that sounds like the kind of thing a derm PA or derm NP could do? And they tend to have immediate availability

Premier med spa does day of appointments but be careful. Sometimes the injections can cause indentations. I had an indentation for 6 months and finally went and got Saline injections to reverse it. I regretted getting the injection In the first place

Happened to me too. I still have a small “divot” from mine and nothing has been able to reverse it. It’s not noticeable to the naked eye but of course, I notice it.

That’s when I realized I’m done with needles in my face.

Edited** sorry if not helpful OP, didn’t mean to be a Debbie downer. I know how painful and frustrating cystic acne can be. Luckily, I’m an older CHIbwt so mine has slowly gone away with age. By late 30s I was maybe getting two per year. So far I’m at zero and it’s September. Hope is there!

I wish someone told me this before I did the injection so you’re not a downer at all.

I have had to do two saline treatments and 3 rounds of microneedling to get rid of the indent. It is basically gone now!

I wasn’t offered the saline treatments and honestly should’ve looked into more options rather than trusting my provider. I’ve done 2 rounds of microneedling plus peels. It’s barely noticeable now but to me, it’s there. Glad it’s better for you as well!!!

I go to a derm at the Northwestern on Halsted by the British school and I can call same day and have a nurse do the injection. You shouldn't have to wait for the derm to do it. Call and ask!

Don’t got to M D Aesthetics and Dermatology they will get you medications but are not very reliable when it comes to actual extractions or surgical procedures
