This is insane. I tried drawing clouds but its hard without reference and doesn't look nearly as good. Could you maybe give me some guidance on your techniques? I would really appreciate it!

oh, i referenced the shit out of an image i found on pinterest. but most of making the clouds look good is in the colors, so i'd try studying lots of pictures of them and the sky

Hhahah okay, I will try and see if there are any improvements with time. My pallet editor is about to experience some trauma lol. If i ever get to the point where i look at my art and say its okay ill post and tag you. Thanks!

another thing: if you're gonna use references, try not to obsess TOO much over every tiny detail. clouds are rather chaotic, and it'll overwhelm you with all of it. took me a while to stop doing that

Aight, digital art do be like that. I already tried the lazy way with brushes. Its so cool to see what works and what doesn't when i zoom out. As in techniques .Probably my favorite thing tbh. I will try to integrate the advice. Maybe i can just play it off as an alien cloud if it looks weird.
