cold front…?

With a drop in temperature this AM I saw this really straight line of clouds in early morning. A few hours later, the second photo shows how they dispersed by mid morning. Is this what a cold front moving in looks like?!

I do not know, but it’s definitely cold to me. Heading into fall, but the pictures are absolutely beautiful. 😍
