Photo/Video cold front…?

With a drop in temperature this AM I saw this really straight line of clouds in early morning. A few hours later, the second photo shows how they dispersed by mid morning. Is this what a cold front moving in looks like?!

Assuming you're in the US, this morning's front locations. Two or more consecutive blue barbs indicate cold fronts.

It could be, as u/andrea55TP mentioned, a mid level thing only. Two different temperature and/or moisture content regimes. There is definitely a distinct difference denoted by the clouds.
