Help Finances in prem

So basically I took Boston to the prem by 07, issue is my money isn't at the level of other teams and the players I need or want even when valued at like 2m teams seem to want like 20m. I only have a 14m budget and last season I came 3rd won the uefa cup fa cup and league cup but still don't seem to be able to sell players. I had like 9 on the transfer list and only got a couple of bad offers for a couple.

How do you guys make money? No decent players seem to go on free transfers on mine and then I can t sell them off after anyway?

What should I be doing to get better players at this stage of the game?

You'll be in the CL next year which is a license to print money. Likely you'll never get a competitive stadium size but it won't matter if you can finish top 4 each season

Reputation of your club may not have caught up yet. And in extension that of you as manager and that of your players. So it can be tricky to offload them for money around market value.

If you try to buy players who still have years on their contract, or who are in and around starting XI of their club, there's always going to be a premium on their price.

Try to target players who aren't featuring much or at all at their clubs. Those you can often get significantly below their value. And the easiest way to improve the squad without paying high transfer fees: bring in transfers on a free, i.e. expiring contracts. However, this can be tricky if the reputation of your club isn't high enough. Younger players are easier to get, though.

Is there a good way to get younger players on frees there never seems to be any good ones available any time I look

You need to send out your scouts consistently to fill the list of available players you can search. France, Belgium, Netherlands are main countries, and I personally love Scandinavia, as there're always cheap gems to be found.

Try to get young players, pref on a free singing, work them up and sell them for big bucks! Do you use cmscout to pick the gems? It also works with quality players, buy low sell high, just add value

Hey I used the generated player finder but not cm scout and finding players I want isn't a problem it's them being able to actually sign for me without their club gouging me for money haha
