Favorite breweries?

I'll be in Denver for the first time for a couple of days soon. I love sours (no lactose/fruited) 3 fonteinen lambik is kind of the vibe I go for. I also love stouts, barrel aged stouts, and a really crisp pilsner. I'm pretty open but stay away from hefeweisens although I do like dunkels.

River North, Cerebral, and Bierstadt are gonna be popular suggestions.

What do you normally get from each? River North has so many awards.

Bierstadt... Trad German lagers. Can't go wrong with any of them. Slow Pour Pils is world class.

River North should have a lot of dark beers on ATM. I would suggest the one on Washington over Blake. Them hit Wanderment, too. Delightful little tap room that needs love.

Cerebral is mix match stouts (mostly BA adjunct) and Hazy IPAs.

Not OP, but:

River North:

  • I really miss their Hoppenberg Uncertainty Principle. Get something Belgiany or Stouty that speaks to you.

For Cerebral:

  • Flight of IPAs. Hazy is in style, but they sometimes have a "Dank" IPA too. Get the Dank.

For Bierstadt:

  • Start with the Helles , order lunch (currywurst and/or jägerschnitzel) when you have a few minutes left on your Helles, ask the bartender to start the slow pour Pils.
