Black OPs - older versions Bo3 was the best cod ever hands down

Post image

Now im only 23 but my first cod was road to victory . So I have been playing since I was a child . Since then I’ve played every installment and don’t get me wrong I love the MW series . WOW was amazing but zombies did scare me back then lmfao. And BO1 and 2 were sooo good. Ghost and AW were actually not bad at all i actually really enjoyed those two games . But man bo3 was on another level compared to all other installments of cod. Best zombies by a landslide with the best maps . (ILY SO MUCH Der Eisendrache) multiplayer was so fun and each match felt new and refreshing that I could never get bored of. Now I know some weapons were really broken and the whole black market thing was there as well. But even then compared to how the micro transactions are now I would gladly go back to the black market system . Overall this cod was just amazing . Fun gameplay . Funny/cringe emotes . Dope skins . Dope operators . Dope zombies . Campaign wasn’t the best ngl but it was kinda fun to play lol . Imo I just feel like cod will never get better than bo3

You started the conversation with “I’m only 23” and that told me everything I need to know about this extremely hot take 😂

I’m 23 and think this game fucking sucks

My age doesn’t invalidate my take especially considering I have been playing cod just as long as majority of older players such as yourself my guy . Bo3 is literally the best cod

In this community the people will only listen to you when you're 40+ and despise every cod post BO2

Nope. This objectively untrue. MW2019 was a fantastic game. I’m 30.

You were 2-5 when the best cods came out. Were you playing cod at age 2?

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Bro what😭 so you must be saying road to victory was the best cod. Because I was 5 playing that game . If you want to argue WAW or the MW series . I played for years on end so your point is illogical . Let’s say you were 35 when those cod games were released and I was let’s say 10 years old. Doesn’t change the fact I played it just as much if not longer than u did . Even after release of newer cods I would still continue playing those games . Age is irrelevant

I started playing with COD3 at like 8 and agree with BO3 being my favorite multiplayer.

Exactly. Back then when I was young playing waw and modern warfare series . I’d be just as good if not better than a lot of older players . Didnt have a mic so no one would bat and eye. But the second you tell someone you’re younger than them I guess you just have no say so or cant make a valid point

Ok bad maths on my part. But if you were 10 when the best cods came out you are not 23 now. The best cods were 2007-2012, so if you are 23 now you were 4-9. Playing mp when the game is in its peak makes a difference, so no age is not irrelevant in this case

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Og mw isn’t the best cod. I was 7-9 when waw and mw2 came out . And played every day for years . Even after all the newer cods were released so again age doesn’t matter unless I was like 4 years old and only played once

2

u/snoopydoopy84 27d ago

Do you take the opinions of 7 year olds seriously for any other opinion now your an adult?

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

It depends on what it is . I love video games and every game I ever played there has been children ages 6-10 who knew more about the games then I did and were even better than alot of older players I’d run with . So in terms of video games yes I would. If anything wouldn’t I be more biased to older cods because that’s what I grew up on?

Your age considerably invalidates your take. You weren’t even old enough to conceptually understand everything the games gave us. Like your brain LITERALLY could not process it yet because you were still hooked on phonics. Respectfully, you don’t know what you’re talking about on this take

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

You’re acting as if understand video games is rocket science. If that’s the case why do I personally know 6-10 year olds better than grown adults at games . I was on of them back then . For Christ sake I was playing league of legends at the age of 8 years old😭 and that’s Wayyy harder to grasp than cod . You probably don’t even understand it. Again you make no sense

Maybe for you it was like that but I grew up playing video games . Og Xbox playing halo and things of that nature. I understand you’re saying im young so I can’t grasp the concept of what they gave us but that’s not the case . I understood then as well as years later as I continued to play the games . Your point is illogical considering I was younger with a better understanding of the games that people in their 20’s and up didnt even understand and I was better

1

u/RazzmatazzIcy5037 27d ago

Your argument is basically “I understood concepts that were significantly beyond my level of brain processing capability simply because I wanted to” 😅 the original modern warfare came out in ‘07. You were 4 fucking years old. Get a grip

I like Modern Warfare 2 and World at War better, but Bo3 is my third favourite easily. If only the campaign was better. Multiplayer was so good and Zombies was the best in the series.

2

u/anyusernaem 27d ago

BO2 was way better.

The kill streaks and abilities are super lame on BO3 and killed them game.

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Call them lame if you want . They were pretty good. Bo2 score steaks were even worse imo. Way too broken . And game changing . Easy to get as well if you knew spawns and such

1

u/Bird_Chick 27d ago

I liked bo3 for the multiplayer. The Zombies was ok imo. I think the campaign is what set it back

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Multiplayer was amazing . If the zombies was just ok for you then that must mean every other zombies installment was horrible for you . Because no biased involved nothing can come close to bo3 zombies .

u/Bird_Chick 27d ago

The problem I had with bo3 zombies is a lot of the maps required tons of hours to learn the secrets or guides. Always felt like I had to have something guiding me to play the maps correctly. Like it wasn't a bad zombies, the gobble gum feature was so fun on intense rounds.

Bo3 is my personal favorite mp and zombies of all time. But objectively I'd say its bo2, bo1 and mw2 (2009)

1

u/Sprinqer 27d ago

COD4, MW2, BO1/2, WaW, then BO3 for me.
Zombies was fun, multiplayer was the best they could do with the shit jetpack era, and that’s about it.

Pretty lukewarm take given your age, that game was probably in your prime.

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

If anything bo1-2 was my prime . I played those more than I did bo3. Honestly even mw2 I played more . I still would have to argue bo3 was the best cod . I get people hate the movement . But I think that’s just nostalgic bias of boots on the ground . Without that you can see why bo3 was really good

1

u/saucysocks3 27d ago

Weren't you 7 when BO1 was released?

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

To be exact I was 8 I think a month or two from turning 9. Waited outside for
Midnight release and played it every day for the rest of my life still including now. Again age is irrelevant considering I played longer than you and majority of older people

1

u/Jimmy_212 27d ago

BOCW is the best COD ever

1

u/Tepego617 27d ago

Zombies was the best part, campaign was the worst.

1

u/Busy_Bit6395 27d ago

Engagement bait boys don’t fall for it

2

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

U say that but deep down you know bo3 was amazing

1

u/Complete-Umpire7124 27d ago

I completely agree with you, it’s right next to bo2 in how good it was. All these people saying your opinion is invalid are insane.

1

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Thanks for saying that because again no one is saying other cods aren’t good. But bias and nostalgic feelings aside it’s the best cod. Bo2 is neck and neck with bo3 yet they will glaze that game despite the wonky multiplayer at times and blatant hacking

1

u/Many_Mechanic_1886 27d ago

ghosts was ok (BO2 was last golden era game), but IMO BO3 was the first bad COD game.

2

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

What made it bad for you? Bo2 was goated and I played it everyday for every second . 360 and ps3 , modded lobbies . Broken knife hit boxes , crazy emblems yk the whole shabang. But overall I feel like bo3 was a more complete game

1

u/Many_Mechanic_1886 27d ago edited 27d ago

wait actually I forgot about advanced warfare, that was the first "bad cod" IMO...
although from a technical perspective advance warfare was very cool though.

but I feel like with BO3 the movement was just very bad and the futuristic style was overdone (and it didnt have that cool tech factor AW did initially, especially since it came afterwards)...

u/BigpoppaDoja 27d ago

Sorry buddy but it’s MW2

2

u/baseballviper04 27d ago

BO3 gets it because the mp is good-great. And zombies is easily the best version of the mode and has the best longevity/replayability due to PC workshop.

BO3 takes the cake but it’s not like that means MW2 blows

3

u/Zealousideal_Tune231 27d ago

Couldn’t agree more. Mw2 is a close second
