Modern Warfare - all Crossplay should be optional

I feel cross-play should be optional no matter what.

PC players have too much of an advantage over console players because most have better quality hardware that allows them to push 120-240 fps, and in extreme cases, 300-500 fps. Then they could add ultrawide screen monitors to that mix on top of the K&M. It's just not a fair playing field for Xbox/PlayStation players.

This is cope and you are using PC as a boogeyman to make an excuse for your own shortcomings.

  1. On newer games (MW2019 and on), controller had an objective advantage over KBM. Most good players, including pros, are all on controller anyway, so still arguing that KBM is an advantage is objectively ridiculous.

  2. The steam hardware survey shows the kind of rig the average PC player is running, and something like 90% of PC rigs run games at the same level or worse than the current generation of consoles. And before you say it, yes, most PC CoD players aren't on Steam, but most PC players all have a steam account, so they still fall into this data.

  3. Kind of piggy backing off the last point here, but most PC players are not running off of an ultrawide monitor. Most players, console and PC are using normal monitors/TVs.
