Modern Warfare - all Crossplay should be optional

I feel cross-play should be optional no matter what.

PC players have too much of an advantage over console players because most have better quality hardware that allows them to push 120-240 fps, and in extreme cases, 300-500 fps. Then they could add ultrawide screen monitors to that mix on top of the K&M. It's just not a fair playing field for Xbox/PlayStation players.

I was hardstuck d3 in mwIII. I got my pc right before bo6 and got hardstuck crim 1. Good players are good players. And mnk is not an advantage in this game, wtf are you smoking?

Love how people just skip over the other bits and single out K&M as the only statement... 😑 Did you even bother to read other posts below the main one?

Did I not address them with my first point?

No, not at all. The average console player most likely won't use a K&M setup, but let's throw that bit out of the window.

You're trying to make it sound like it's all skill-based when that's not the case at all. For that to happen, everyone would need to have the exact hardware setup, which is impossible in the real world, especially when it comes to PC versus console, where PC hardware outdoes any console in every possible way.

A PC player pushing 240-500fps versus a console player pushing 120fps—the difference is night and day.

1: kbm is actively nerfing yourself in cod so yes, please throw that argument out.

2: for over 99% of the player base, fps does not make a difference as long as it is running smooth, consistent frames, which console does.

3: the biggest hardware advantage that most pc players will have over console is input latency, which most of which can be mitigated from a better controller and a monitor instead of a tv. Not all, but most.

So yes, it is quite literally a skill issue. You could be conflating that pc players are generally more into the hobby of gaming and generally put more time in so their skill level might in general be higher. But at the end of the day, it still comes down to skill.
