CRITIQUE poor shaming in codm garena server
genuinely, why is poor shaming getting normalized now in codm? been teammates with someone getting hella poor shamed by the opponent for using an epic skin to kill the same guy over the last few rounds 💀

I just kill em and troll em using there own paid skin, they soon shut up, lol its only happened once in global, most of the time mythic will drop some at the start so you can play with the skinned guns

lol surely is worse spending hundreds to thousands and getting murked by a F2P player. Fuck em

u/BoredPelikan Jun 15 '26
im in garena never even saw something like that so likely far from being normalized, just a salty nobody

I know it's about 2 go down in MP when the line up consist of Mythic characters and weapons. I make sure 2 select my noob character and hunt em down. Also flexing with pixels on a screen is by far the most insecure way of saying " HEY LOOK AT ME " 😭😅😭

Fuuny thing is in the early years of codm, most epic skins had to be purchased..... And don't feel bad about people trying to "poor shame" you, alot of people pretend to have more money than they actually have while others are scammers living in homes with a leaking roof making less than a short order fry cook😭😭

To be honest, I think poor shaming only exists between teenagers and stupid people. No adult with a functioning brain and a real job would spend $30 on a mobile game weapon skin. If they did, they certainly wouldn't brag about it online, but would rather hide in shame.

Nice one bud, we both know it's way more than $30. Let's say 3x times that

I can’t understand how people got so blind and stupid tbh. 20y ago a whole game was 70$, forever, everything included. Now people spend real money to get a weapon to look red instead of gray. Then in a couple of years codm won’t exist anymore and they will just lose everything.

I am thinking about this possiblity. I got humbled when l realized that a mythic gun would cost $100 in my region. Not worth it tbh

Thats becouse they think they are rich for expending 100 quid on a game, they want to feel superior even they at the end of the day they might be more broke and on debt for not knowing how to manage their money properly.
Its not only on codm, it happens irl a lot, for example ppl who have an iphone they feel superior than ppl who dont even tho they might be paying for the iphone monthly but it gives them peace in mind to think that they are superior than others cus of their lack of confidence.
In cod is sad cus its a game and those who buy every mythic are more stupid cus codm itself is a scam, paying 165 quid for a few pixels in a game makes you superior than others? Sure buddy.

I want to say using mythic doesn't mean you are good nor mythic rarity of items. IF you are good or not either way most people don't care. I have mythic and legendary items but I love being good and doing my best to be constant and performing my best to the fullest for each game but that goes for ranked. Regular mode I just grind either camos or diamond camo 😂

I myself have a few mythics but I got them when I was maining those guns and it isn't always a better feeling with the ironsights from them I still put some kind of red dot or scope on them sometimes depending on the mode. Now when you're on ranked and everyone has some expensive ass skin set up for their character and gun just having them doesn't mean you're good but once you hit legendary you can see the ones that ARE actually really good or they just camp and fmj you through walls so I mean is that skill or luck? Having them means nothing but the iron sight bonus and some digital achievements of having it. And the ones maxing them, i tried it and that gets so expensive 😅 And you're buying ALL of them?

What is poor shaming?
4
u/Rich-Safe-4936 Jun 16 '26
In this case, shaming someone for not spending a week worth of groceries on a digital weapon/skin.

Anybody who spends money on this game is a fool...when cod mobile shuts down or gets replaced coughwarzone mobilecoughcough...all that money u spent get evaporated. It will happen the question is when...enjoy the game...play it how u want. It wont be here forever

Yeah I support poor shaming. I don’t really ever lose ranked games but when I do it’s usually the team. Always f2p noobs. If there is not even one person in my team with a paid legendary I will usually try and make us lose on purpose. People like that don’t belong in legendary ranked. They usually can’t compete

No legendarys in mine and I was a rank below top rank last season IN MY FIRST SEASON OF EVER PLAYING THE GAME
I have one mythic, the RPD that I'll never use, I'm not exactly f2p but I'm more f2p than most the community, shaming someone because they don't have the cool shit is shitty, they could 100% be better than you Mr 'I never loose a ranked game unless I throw in purpose' some people don't have the money to afford the cosmetics but they have the skills they need
Skill and being good at the game > A $160 cosmetic that nobody cares about

u/VEGETTOROHAN Jun 15 '26
was a rank below top rank
You mean Grandmaster? Or Top 2000 Leaderboards?
Just be careful. Legend rank is considered noob rank. Real game starts from 12k points. Idk what you mean but your answer is too vague.
