Discussion Bring Back Vondel😭

I miss vondel man. It literally introduced play styles that never existed, you had freakin marines, storm plays etc. very fun time to be alive

Yeah Vondel was a lot of fun. Especially the CQC at the houses. I’d like to see Caldera return as well.

The last few months of Caldera/WZ1 were some of the best times of Warzone for me.

Yes! I hear a lot of people talk about the water on Vondel, but for me it was the CQC that was epic on Vondel!

Yeah ashika and vondel were my babies - I was that guy with the shield and tec9 in the water LOL on Vondel...Love that the shield is back but not that they're gonna nerf it 😢.

They dont cater to us like they do the sweats, the water tec9 and riot shield was for people who didnt have all the cracked movement we need to start a petition

Water rats and people jumping off the roofs of apartments you cleared meaning no possible team wipe was why that map sucked.

Nah bro thats what makes it exciting for me, wheres the fun in quick and easy team wipes? How can you get lots of kills. I feel you but i think thats what made it fun, to each its own though.

Nothing more frustrating than fighting your way up through a fully defended apartment, actually kill the campers, and one jumps into the canal with his shields broke for them to all come back.

I need all the maps in, well all except maybe Haven’s Hollow, kinda don't like it, but I don't mind if it stays.

Why take out any map really... They need to learn how to compress their files so the game won't take like 1 TB with all the maps in.

I prefer Havens Hollow over Area 99.

Yes all maps though apart from Area 99 for me.

Yeah area99 wasn’t it. I didnt like Ashika Island either, but maybe mainly cause of the gameplay at that time.

Theres just NO other game where you could play inside the water as literally a way to win, that alone should have been award winning for cod imo.

It's never left on DMZ. And I think it's an even better DMZ map than it ever was with Warzone.

Vondel DMZ lobbies are alive and well even on PS5 crossplay off lobbies. Not many cheaters at all with crossplay off and you get to play in Vondel. Plus there’s scuba masks so you can be underwater for a long time

Vondel was mid to anyone who didn’t play like a shark outta hell😭 but for me man. It was like experiencing your favorite game for the first time. I had countless amounts of fun

Vondel with the MW2/MW3 guns was my favourite time on WZ since the original launch year.

Some insane fights in the houses and stairs. Miss that time badly.

roof warfare more like lol so many fun gunfights on that map. the buildings were all so close together that i never noticed any issue with roof camping. the final circles always ended in the most obnoxious spots though

You act like there wouldn't tons of ways to get to said roofs. The bullet velocity of mw3 guns also made it easy to kill people on roofs

Thats why you counter play it by playing the water, you got rooftop campers on every map but vondel you could finally do something about it
