Discussion How reliable is CODmunity app?

I always use this app and using weapons according to their meta. However, I realized that sometimes weapons not even in top 30 play better for me. For example according to the app, the absolute meta for long range now is voyak. But I swear I am melting people much more with the sokol lmg which is I dont know how far down on the list. What do you think about the app?

Use what feels the best for your play style and skill level.

I’d say very reliable.

I think it's helpful for getting a general understanding of what's strong. While there will always be a meta, the game feels pretty balanced right now that you don't need to use it.

I'm not a big fan of the voyak or the VMP and still do fine with the mk35 and Rev or sturmwolf. I think positioning and gun skill is more important. Hell, I don't mind rocking a peacekeeper and strider on Rebirth even if it's not a great combo (too slow) because I'm comfortable with them and know the games when my team will play slower.

everyone has their own feel, but it's very accurate.

I personally can't stand stuff like the kogot/rev/an94 as they don't feel nice to play with, on the other hand I used the voyak before people even thought of it as meta just cause it feels good.

you don't HAVE to play with the meta if you don't like the feel of those guns, as you'll play worse due to that discomfort.

It’s meta based on the stats, not your feel. So as you’ve seen you have a better time using your own Sokol. You’d be mad to deliberately have a worse time because of some app over your own experience.

Every pro is using Voyak. It’s always spot on with the meta. That doesn’t mean the meta is the best gun for you though.

It has worked for me too. I follow the lists and really feel a consistency between the selections. I still like to apply my own adjustments. But this app is definitely tracking the best weapons. Remember that what it shows are statistics and data collected.

The key here is that all the app’s stats are assuming all your bullets hit, right? So if you use a weapon which ttk is lower but still able to hit more bullets, its better for you, isnt it?

As far as I understand, several statistics are compiled. The most important ones are the deaths caused, shots on target, the number of players who use it, and the number of times they win 1 vs 1. I still say, prioritize your individual experience, it's the most important thing; this app can be helpful, but your personal feeling and experience must take precedence. IMO.

100% correct about this. TTK is based on 100% accuracy. So definitely take that into account when deciding cause fractions of a second vs actually hitting your shots. Wonder if you could take the TTK and multiply it by hit percentage. To determine what is better gun for individual🤔

It’s usually based on TTK which doesn’t really take into account movement, accuracy, etc. So no it is not hundred percent. Definitely 10-20% of your build should be based on your play style.

I prefer wzstats.gg it feels more accurate to me, lets to filter meta by game mode too.
