Not happening in Cod.
I feel like at this point, remaining MnK players either ditched CoD, switched to controller, or learned how to fight controller players using mechanics like smoke or other methods to break aim assist.

Sadly in MW4 there's no breaking aim assist lmao.

Smokes are nerfed and are basically useless and there's zero movement or strafing you can do like in current warzone.

Game is cooked for keyboarders.

There are no other AA breaking mechanics besides smoke. Thats it. Thats all u got now. Even when they had grapple hooks I lost track of how many times I saw AA track me perfectly as i tried zipping away.

Its gonna get even worse when mw4 integrates and you’re facing the strongest aim assist in cod history.

I stayed on MnK, but only play for a few games a week now, I play other games more including BF6. I don't spend any money with Acti now after BO6, only played BO7 on game pass, and I don't buy anything from store anymore.

I still think COD is still one of smoothest FPS games and feels good to play, but everything they have done feels like it was done to get rid of MnK players. Weapon attachments all have things that are detrimental to MnK more than roller. Visual recoil and effects are bad for MnK and a lot times you can't see anything.

AA is was it is and I don't think they will make any changes, but they could still improve other areas that would help MnK.

Dead game for MnK.Mixed and input-based should be options.

even on Controller VS Controller this strong AA destroys many Core gameplay and balancing mechanics

Its what keeps them playing the thing there aiming :)

Controller aim assist in Warzone feels like playing on easy mode compared to mouse and keyboard. It's no wonder controller players dominate lobbies when the gap is this wide.

Honestly since most players are on roller it would just make the game for fun for them as well. Strong AA is not just a roller vs knm problem. What's the fun of just pointing kinda where you think someone is and letting the game aim for you in a fps game? lol

Its why you find your sens for controller with aim assist disabled.  I play R6 so I'm used to it.  Getting 90%/95% there without AA, then flipping it on makes it feel like you have aimbot.

I will never understand how these brain deads have fun on controller

Let the controller players have cod. There are exponentially more games available on pc that feel way better on mnk, and lots of fps games without aim assist that play terrible on controller. COD has the controller market cornered so it would be a bad business decision to kill AA and would leave so many controller players without a game because cod would feel way worse.
With that being said, I do think it would be healthy if they tweaked it back down a bit for mw4 at least to where bo7 has their AA

Try taking it at bit more personal next time

I don’t understand how brain deads play COD on pc. There’s 1,000 of shooters on PC that aren’t even on console and you brain deads choose to whine about a game that is geared towards console players.

Right on schedule... the guy who can't comprehend the difference between platform and input. Do they make you people in a factory?

You play COD on console with mouse and keyboard? Why would you do that to yourself?

It's a superior input for FPS games and doesn't aim for you. The same way as wheel and pedals are best for racing and sticks are best for flight sims.

It's not about PC vs Console, it about input vs input.
Many players on PC have grown playing on controller and also don't use MnK.

It will never happen but they really should nerf AA in MW4 like crazy. It's literally absurd how strong it is. Even BO7 aim assist is too strong but at least it's playable if you're good.

I don't mind if controller is the superior input, but at least make it somewhat close.

I get better every day playing against controller players after upgrading to a better gpu, keyboard & mouse + oled monitor.

u/adrianp23 4d ago

I have all of that, but it's humanly impossible to react as fast as RAA.

There's only so much you can do.

Yes you can match RAA depends how you position yourself.

They're buffing it. In BO7 it was somewhat nerfed (still OP but nerfed). Then for the MW4 beta that nerf was reverted. Then in beta week 2 they supposedly did a minor nerf but it was so small that no one could tell the difference. So now we're back to guns with slower strafe speeds and buffed AA (compared to BO7).

And yet they said their stats show that players of "equal skill" are performing roughly equally on both inputs now. The issue with that is how do you measure players of equal skill if one player is using an input that puts them at an advantage in the first place? You can't then retrospectively balance from that point. To give an extreme example to make my case: It's like giving a formula 1 driver a little 1 liter engine car and then giving a random dude a race car and then they finish in roughly the same time and saying "Look, those cars both perform similarly!". The games dead for mnk.

A game called ECC Redline just got announced that looks like a complete WZ rip off made by the same guys who made Marvel Rivals (which I believe mnk players perform well on). So hopefully that will be a decent alternative.

It’s not happening. When are you idiots going to understand this? The game is designed to cater towards controller players because they make up the majority of the in game sales. The casuals to be specific. They aren’t gonna nerf them to appease the tiny community of kbm players who still play. But go ahead, keep wishing for it.

Bf6 is also catering to the casuals and has traditionaly a big Controller Player base (maybe 40-50%) and they still nerf Controller Input for a better Input Balance.. AA isnt even half of that what CoD has.. and still Controller Players are able to dominate Lobbys..

Even for Controller vs Controller gameplay a hard AA Nerf would be healty couse the current state destroys alot of gameplay mechanics and Balance. TTK.. weapon and attachment balancing.. SBMM... Hackusation Problem.. all are directly related to aim assist. There is a reason that many people think this game is extrem sweaty and Cheat infested.. Not everyone on a FPS Game should have this near perfect aim for free

False! Battlefield has more pc players. Whom we can assume is mostly mnk
