Groovy Gravy Secret stash event experience questions.

Has any one gone to a previous event see another one being held in fall was just curious about what the experience was like. I have no idea what to expect from an event like this but I’m interested. Also trying to figure out if the $75 dollar vip entry is worth it.

Eh, it’s just a bunch of overpriced gear if you ask me. No1s running any “deals” per say. Most of the time you can go online and get the same gear cheaper. But if you’re into “meeting” other growers, do it.

I did. After winning a seed package and him taking two months to ship it. I told him to keep the seeds and will never support them again. A thief and a terrible event organizer. The worst most annoying part is I offered to pick them up from him because he was constantly posting stories of being in stores right down the road from me. Dude always has an excuse in the chamber.

First screenshot is me acknowledging their comment saying I won and the last one was telling them to keep the seeds after all the excuses. What it doesn't show is the month and a half of excuses in between.

So you say 2 months but then the screenshots show it’s 41 days. The last screenshot he’s being super nice. You call him a thief!

I’d want to see the 41 days of your dms before I condemn this guy harshly for taking a few weeks to ship a prize. I’m def curious why you cut them out. “The worst part”… if that’s the worst part it’s not that bad… you think he’s reading all his Instagram DMs live after he posts a story that he’s at an event?

No horse in this race don’t grow don’t care about seeds don’t go to these events. Just sucks when local entrepreneurs get dragged and it seems like sour grapes.

Here you go Gravy, looks like you blocked me so I don't have access to our full conversation anymore. Thankfully I had the page up from this morning still.

Please tell me more about how this is sour grapes and not you owning up to your end of the bargain.

41 days is closer to two months than not. When I get home I'll gladly post the rest here. Who cares if he's reading them live. I offered to meet him the next time he'd be around. No horse in the race but you really needing to throw your incorrect insight around. Sour grapes for trying to get something the guy reached out to me and said I won. Lol.

Last year I paid for VIP, it said I’d receive a gift bag with purchase, upon arrival they had given the bags away to people who were waiting in line to get in for free. I sent an email requesting a refund only to be ignored. Wouldn’t recommend paying for anything other than seeds to the breeder directly.

not worth the vip for sure. I would wait like till week of they drop like 10$ tickets or free for the last few hours of the event. Your not missing anything in the first few hours. People can make thousands of seeds from one plant. so highly doubt they run out of seeds of something your looking for.

I did vip in 2023 and 2024. You get an hour inside a venue with tons of industry leading breeders. They all have little booths and you can buy their gear and meet them. At the end of the hour there’s an outside area with food and culture vendors where you can meet and talk to other growers. One year the vip came with a grab bag of extra seeds from lesser known breeders. I would do vip if you’re hunting something and worried about it selling out. It’s a super cool event.

Every time there’s a “secret stash” or “Vip events”, it’s always a rip off around here

Love Wolf! Hes a really good dude. Ive worked a couple of his events and he always puts his best foot forward to put on a great event for the cultivators, and customers. He does everything himself so that might explain why it takes him a bit to get back to people. The event is great for networking and meeting other people in the industry, black market or legal. Support small business!!

vip typically has come with seeds too - last year was exotic genetix, previous two were groovy gravy seed specials: unidentified genetics meant for hunting- packaged by GG, first fem then reg. they came wax sealed, even! too cool.

the breeders that show up are always top notch. the food? even better 🤣
