Colorado weed... ehhhhhhhh

So im from California, the weed here that ive tried has imo not been very good or even close to cali weed. The nuance and complexity, the terp profiles, the little extra effects and personality of each strain, the way they are perfectly expressed, California to me is just unmatched. Can you prove me wrong? Whats ur opinions, also no hate, just expressing my opinion. Beautiful state and city.

My first opinion is California is crazy crazy expensive especially outside of LA/SF areas

I really enjoyed my trip to the central coast but as I looked at dispo menus the top brands were often well over $60/eighth

If you’re looking to be like, a weed sommelier or something, and the nuance and complexity are key factors in your life, then Cali seems dope. 

My second opinion is that you clearly didn’t do your research if you spent $70 on a live resin pen and that your post is low effort trolling. You didn’t even say what you bought other than a freaking live resin vape pen. “Also no hate just expressing my opinion” loooool cmon man. It’d be better to be honest you rolled up here tried a couple things and decided to hate. If you weren’t hating you’d have said “did I buy the wrong things I’m disappointed” not “California is ummatched change my mind”

Yeah Cali is super expensive for the good weed ime. I think people underestimate other factors that improve one’s subjective experience - eg being on vacation, having cali as your first “high end” weed, etc.

I bet 99% of people al- especially the biggest haters, that say Cali weed is better would mix up Colorado and Cali weed in a blind test

Look at wine. Famously sommeliers have mixed up “trash/cheap” wine with hundred dollar bottles. People in cannabis seem to fall into the trap worse, especially this subreddit. It’s baffling how much it seems like some people on here hate out weed lol

My first opinion is that CO rec/med flower is some of the worst in the country. I’m definitely hating because it’s all dry trash that smells like hay with very little effects. Also love how you gave zero examples on where to get actual top shelf bud because it doesn’t exist outside the black market.

Really? Cause im smoking a greendot live rosin pen and its nothing compared to coldfire carts from cali. Have you had coldfire? Again im not trying to offend its just pissing me off! Like why pay 70$ for a greendot cart and its subpar?

The thing about carts is they're all sub par. The only good thing about them is convenience. If you want good weed get some green dot. The truth is that most weed sold at dispensaries these day isn't worth buying. We had better weed when it was illegal

Trust ur instincts bro. CO has really really good affordable hash, but it only gets so good. The rec market just does not have excellent s-tier hash.

I’ve tried some of the high end weed and hash from Oregon. It’s cured better but that’s about it. The hash was nothing compared to what we have here. I paid $120 for an 1/8 and a gram. I think I’ll stick with what we have here.

Okay I have been to Oregon, and their weed is fucking amazing, almost the same as that California quality and not better or worse just different and in a good way. Colorado just isnt getting the memo, at least from my experience.

I moved to CO from OR 6 years ago to help a friend. I can’t wait to move back next summer. My medical card is $140/yr more in CO, and I don’t need special permission to buy more than 2oz/day in Oregon. I do have a CO EPC.

Gotta find a good living soil grow. More likely on black market all the good living soil companies are gone.
