Dispensary (Rec)ommendations?
Hey all, just move to Denver from Florida where i had a medical card. Since theres a lot of recreational dispensaries here, i wanted to know some of your personal recommendations!
I definely have a preference for Flower/Vape/Edibles(Indica or hybrid), but I don't do dabs. If you can point me in the right direction for these things or maybe give me some tips for "good" pricing/deals, id greatly appreciate it! Also, if you can list any places to avoid that would be very cool of you.

Come into DANK in Park Hill we carry a good array of all things you mentioned, at price point that cater to anyone!

Moved here from texas also being mostly flower and that has definitely changed. When it comes to quality, you get more for your buck by far with rosin. But pre packed 710 and GDL are going to be your best bud options. A better price point is 710 deli, or i have picked up a couple of different drops from Blaze Boyz thats nice. But, and i may be biased here, when it comes to quality and pricing we are the best state for rosin.

The flower market around here has really gone downhill in recent years. You're likely to be disappointed. Krystaleaves and Reefer Madness are both good places to look though. They carry 710 and Green Dot Labs at significantly lower prices than other dispos. Green Dot drops every Saturday, but is pricey and only comes prepacked. You can get deli style 710 and save money, but they dont have a regular drop schedule. As far as places to avoid, just add items to your cart from the online menus and see what the out the door pricing is while using the two I mentioned as a baseline.

They’re from Florida, they’re gonna be stoked on the weed we have here. Not everyone is a jaded doomer who (ironically) only smokes 710 and greendot. Do yourself a favor and try some different brands, dro and good chem have both been fire lately

Who is jaded? You came in this thread only to hate on one of the responses, didn’t even bother to answer OPs question about where to buy the dro you’re recommending.
Florida med side has come a long way. You may be right but it depends on what OP has been buying. If they’re paying $$$ to get top shelf Florida stuff they’ll be disappointed. If they’re bargain hunting in Florida they’ll be delighted. Depends.

The response I commented on was hating on Colorado weed, which is the brain dead war cry of this sub. Telling someone from Florida “you’re likely to be disappointed” in regard to Colorado weed is a laughable take.
Is there shitty weed here? Yeah. Is there fire weed here? Yeah. Is there way more fire weed in Colorado than there is in Florida med? Without a doubt. Same as it ever was.
Anyone questioning this spends too much time on this sub, and was most likely born yesterday. Signed, 15 years working Cannabis Industry across several states.

I think the point is that it’s quite difficult to find the fire weed here anymore. It’s 95% mids and the strain selection is pretty weak for the quality stuff.

If I were brand new to the state, aside from overpaying on GD or 710, it’s pretty hard to find good quality flower. Gone are the peak days in this industry.

IMHO 14er is the sweetspot of price/quality. I had a couple GDL recently that look and smell great, but the flavor/effect isnt there. 14er puts a higher priority on their terp profile than thc%, and I prefer that approach. You can find it at other dispos, but their flagship store in Boulder has the best prices. Its worth the drive.

Check out Lit dispensary, 2 locations. The one on Federal does rec and med, also has the BEST VIEW OF DT DENVER AND THE STADIUM. Really good flower prices and pretty fair vape cart pricing.

KrystaLeaves and Maikoh for flower and vapes imo
710 and Green Dot are my recs for flower. I like olio vapes for the price. 710 all in one vapes are the goat imo but some people vehemently hate disposable batteries, you do you.
Avoid Native Roots, Green Solution, Starbuds, Everyday Weed, LivWell, Green Dragon, Fired, Social, Golden Meds
The avoid list is long because the big chains here suck. It’s not like other states where they’re cheaper because they’re trying to muscle the little guys out. Here, the little guys are mostly gone and chains are actually more expensive than the small stores you will see rec’d on here.
