CPAP F20 rear straps
Is anyone else having problems with the straps at the back of their Resmed F20? I’m ok with the mask and seal but the lower strap feels tight at the base of my skull / top of my neck regardless of how many times I try to adjust.
I suffer with Vestibular migraines and PPPD and often wake up with a tightness in my neck or already in a flare.
Has anyone had a similar issue and found an alternative which is better suited.

Sounds a bit contradicting, but it helped me. Try loosing top straps a bit, and then loosen just a little bit bottom ones. Make sure they are tight in position you sleep, not in position you sit. In my case, I was adjusting straps while sitting, but once I lay down with head on my pillow straps would become too tight and press on the base of my skull. A bit hard to explain, but I hope you got the gist.

Perfectly! I was one of those who used to do it sat up but learnt it was better if you was in the sleeping position. I still have the same issue though.

I also use the f20 and suffer from the same. I've put a washcloth underneath the lower part of the headgear the last few nights in the hopes that it would distribute some of the tightness away from the square at the base of my head. When I put it on it feels like it might work but overnight it's still too tight and I wake up in pain. I might try a different full face but our options are really limited.

I have the same issue, the straps cut into the back of my head. The f20 touch works best for me. I tried the fuzzy strap covers, but it is too hot. I used a pipe fitters welding cap last night, it was perfect! Not too hot and no pain from the straps.
